Know value of your Investment ie Vote

Many of the Delhi voters being employed are aware what it takes to earn some 5-6 Lakh package & maintain it, ie hard work,long hours,few holidays,deadlines pressure. Naturally a Head or personnel at high position of 25-30 Lakh must not only give quality work but also accountability to his position or face consequences.
Lets look at our Delhi MLA's 'Package' per month (Salary+Constituency+sump. allowance=20000
Daily allowance=    30000

Petrol 700liters*75Rs=52500

5 YEARS MLA PAY             1.5Crore
+ LifeLong pension.

High pay...but where's the work review by people who pay him ie You! Is he liable for punishment / fine / job loss when he faulters like through Lokayukt or Right To Recall ...No! Neither you have any concrete say on his spending for the people.
An MLA gets 4 crores per year or 20 crore for 5 years for spending on public welfare of your constituency alone! You must have a say in spending of your tax paid money for your problems to be resolved by it. Congress Bjp wont give you that power,but AAM AADMI PARTY is promising just that, Swaraj or Decentralization of power from MLA to people.

Now lets come to overall Delhi's spending. Total of Delhi govt's revenue (through taxes you pay etc) or Annual Budget is 30,000Cr...5 years total amount comes to 1.5Lakh crore (though it increases 10-15% every year so it shud be more, but for simplicity sake its ignored ). Total voters in delhi are 1.15 Lakh.
So the pure money Value (True Value is much much more) of your single vote is (1.5 Lakh Cr Rs ÷ 1.5Lakh votes) 1.3Lakh! This is your investment that will decide not only yours but your family's future & development. You should not only vote but encourage every other person to vote because if you don't make your investment, other person will make it for you & you will be burdened by his choice.
Hence every citizen must Vote & encourage voting for better investment for your future.

How much Taxes do you pay?

A very important question that we face atleast once every year...Paying taxes...some might say they have a 3 Lakh package & by investing in various schemes like LIC PF etc, they end up paying Nil taxes. Good isn't it?
Wrong, majority of Indians including educated ones don't know that they don't just pay Income taxes, but almost every other tax levied by government in some or other way which are commonly known as indirect taxes. For eg. 12% Excise duty is levied on goods manufactured and although paid by manufacturer, passes onto buyer...similarly 12% service tax,4% -33% sales tax, VAT,etc all are paid ultimately by you, the consumer.
For instance lets take petrol,its Net cost of one litre excluding taxes is 42 Rs and the taxes you pay on 1 Litre is 30 Rs! That's a whopping 43% of total price. Assuming your yearly expense on petrol is Rs 24000 (2000 per mth) you pay its 43% ie 10320Rs as taxes to govt! You can only imagine the amount of total taxes govt receives only on petrol. Maharashtra receives 70% of its total revenues from VAT on petrol alone!
And this is only one product...countless products are there which you buy having excise,VAT,ST  which you pay indirectly and hence your tax payment to govt can be anywhere between 15-35% of your income even if you dont pay income tax. That is One-third of your life spent in earning money to give to corrupt govt & get peanuts in return. Even if a poor man buys biscuit of 5 Rs, he pays about 1rs as taxes.
After this much taxes every individual ought to receive good amenities. But on the contrary, taxpayers' hard earned money is being used for lavish living of Politicians, bureaucrats,crony capitalists as they all receive share in schemes of govt, through corruption & leakages, which are funded by our money.
Its the duty of every educated person to atleast know how much taxes they are paying & hence how much getting in return from government , and make every person aware that how much taxes is he actually paying!

Decentralization of power to gram sabha,the people : Swaraj

Why should a leader or few persons "Rule" a country in form of political party? This is not the old ages of kings & subjects.Ours is a representative democracy, 540 MPs represent 126Crore people. Can each MP know about problems or well beings of atleast most of people they represent? Very difficult...Thus it's the time to involve general public in power & end monopoly of neta in decision making..Power in few hands has been a problem in any society , any civilization during various periods of time the world over. Switzerland follows this "Direct Democracy" & hence is the third least corrupt & developed nation.Even USA follows it in form of Town halls.
Swaraj or decentralization of political power to people ensures
checking of power concentration in
few hands & its misuse.Gandhiji envisiond it as Gram sabha- One of four of anna's demand for reforms - Swaraj apart from lokpal,Right to reject & recall. Current society is educated enough to be decentralized. Infact in Hiware bazar village of Maharashtra, Swaraj has changed a drought affected poor village to self sufficient, facilities equipped modernized village with per capita income which was 900 per month to 30000Rs per month without any state or central govt help. All decisions are taken collectively by people & all government servants are accountable to people not few sarpanch, hence scope of corruption is nil.The details of expenses,income & surplus is presented to the Gram sabha (Meeting of all villagers) at regular intervals.There, people decide whether to use funds, for which purposes & not few leaders who for looting give contracts for crores & milk out their & bureaucrats' share.  Infact village is united as a whole for example there is only one Muslim family in village, so gram sabha on its own decided to build Masjid for them from gram sabha's funds & all villagers' help. Where parties divide in name of religion, caste etc ,people are uniting themselves because of their collective power. The elections have stopped as there is no need in hivare bazar for another convenor.
In case of cities; for instance in delhi Mohalla-sabha were formed & similar decision making was given to them. One road which MCD was offering to make in 12 crores was made in just 10lakhs (with good quality). You can imagine the corruption & consequent money that will be saved which will result in less inflation, low taxes,good facilities & overall long term prosperity that will be achieved without any party's help.For example total annual direct tax collection is 5.5 Lakh crore Rs & Coal scam is of 1.8 Lakh crore Rs..so if you pay 10000 as Income tax, 4000 Rs has gone to corrupts...and this is just ONE scam, there are thousands others...imagine the amount of corruption & welfare denied due to open loot by people in power.
Finally as was witnessed, people demanded anti rape law at Indiagate by protesting,begging but only got water cannons, tear gas...This unresponsiveness of govt to the people will be taken care of Swaraj will ensure people's say in law making through Initiative, referendums or Gram sabhas, hence law will be truly made for, by & of the people.
This will be a true Participative Democracy which Gandhiji had envisioned for India- Swaraj
